Practice Self-Awareness

  • Check-in with yourself regularly and take stock of your feelings changing.
  • Identify triggers and big emotions before they create problems in your relationships.

Regulate Your Emotions Before Reacting

  • Take a breath before responding and pause.
  • Communicate when you need a break.

  • Express your needs instead of making people guess or assume.
